The Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test qualifies students for technical and engineering programmes offered by colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh conducts this exam across 41 centers of the state. Students can use their AP POLYCET score to apply to government and private polytechnic institutions in the state.
There are few eligibility criteria that applicants must meet:
- Only Indian nationals can attempt the AP POLYCET
- The applicants must be resident of Andhra Pradesh.
- They should have passed Class 10 exam held by State Board of Secondary Education of Andhra Pradesh or Telangana; or they should have cleared an equivalent exam with a minimum aggregate of 35% marks (Mathematics as a compulsory subject). The candidates should also have scored 35% in all subjects of the qualifying exam (including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
- There is no age restriction to attempt AP POLYCET.
